About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring timely shipping and receiving processes while maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Experience working under the supervision of warehouse supervisors is a plus.
• Certification in forklift operation is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and cranes, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
