About The Position

The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Stand Cooks to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position is preferred, including previous restaurant experience on grill station preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets, recipes, and food abbreviations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures and take directions; work as a team player.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing food for the stand, including grilling, frying, and prepping.
  • Follow Health Code standards and HACCP.
  • Perform end of shift duties including cleaning back of house area and assisting stand attendants if needed.
  • Prepare food/burgers to specifications before and during unit operations.
  • Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.
  • Ensure freshness and quality of all menu items and package all products to proper specifications.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory in accordance with company checklists and procedures.
  • Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
  • Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and management.
