About The Position

Assure die's produce quality parts through: Preventative maintenance, d ie maturation, d ie repair, and d aily trouble shooting.

Requirements

• Minimum of three months experience in the mechanical and/or die mold maintenance field (including Co-op experience) preferred
• Two-year degree (electrical/mechanical/or industrial) or equivalent experience (preferred, but not required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Application of engineering and manufacturing principles
• In-Depth understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic 2D and 3D computer-aided-design tools.
• Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams
• Business acumen in a technical environment

Responsibilities

• Work on daily activities as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Respond to equipment/die downtime and recovery issues.
• Monitor equipment/die for potential problems identification
• Perform quality & running efficiency improvements to the dies
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance plans & activities.
• Perform zone inspections.
• Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
• Observe and promote all department safety policies.
• Quality confirmation of completed work.
