About The Position

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and approachable Customer and Stakeholder Advisor to represent the Transport team in building strong and resilient relationships with the local community, our client, and other key stakeholders. NZ Full Clean Driver’s License is essential for this role. Your dual focus will be coordinating communications from external stakeholders including letter drops and supporting the Customer and Stakeholder Manager with administrative and general office tasks. Specifically, the effective communication of project plans and programs to relevant stakeholders, diplomatic handling of stakeholder concerns. You will be the first point of contact for the site and will provide ad-hoc administrative support as required. You will be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The is a junior role that will suit someone with a Communications background and a passion for customer service and stakeholder management. If you are passionate about customer service, enjoy being out in the community, and are comfortable with hands-on tasks like letter drops, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Have a professional telephone manner and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Distribute Notification of works (letter drops) in local communities and businesses
  • The ability to effectively manage and escalate all requests, complaints and notifications from the public and our clients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Good physical and mental resilience and thrives under pressure
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • NZ Full Clean Driver’s License is essential for this role

Responsibilities
