About The Position

SUMMARY : Responsible for using a pallet jack to move combos in and out of production as needed and communicate with control room on movements of product.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to obtain the pallet jacket & forklift certificate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months of production experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read the labels with product name and number
• Stand/Walk: Continuously
• Grasp: Frequently
• Lift/Carry: Frequently (up to 20lbs.)
• Push/Pull: Frequently (5 to 25 lbs.)
• Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 35° F)
• Bend/Stoop: Occasionally
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must have 6 months of operator experience documented in the application.
• Rehire Waiting Period: 90 days
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire .

Responsibilities

• Inspect pallet jack and check out/in daily
• Use pallet jack to move combos into production
• Communicate with control room on combos brought in production
• Cover full combos
• Move empty combos
• Keep the area clean
• Other duties as assigned
