The Staging Associate is responsible for providing high quality work by prepping setup hardware and equipment for technicians utilizing efficient and productive processes to exceed our customer expectations for satisfaction. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for: Assist technicians by uncrating/unboxing/unbagging hardware/equipment/accessories, prepping hardware, and accessories, and moving equipment. Uncrating/Unboxing/Unbagging: Removing screws from crate and taking crate pieces off from around the traction unit. Removing machines, accessories, attachments, and hardware out of boxes and plastics and discard in the appropriate locations. Prepping: Laying out hardware, accessories, and attachments in a uniformed order for easy assembly. Moving Equipment: Moving Equipment from staging area to pre-prep area, moving from pre-prep area to technician’s bay along with hardware, and moving equipment from technician’s bay when completed. Flexibility to move between different work areas as workload is required. Remove crates, boxes, and plastics from equipment, accessories, attachments, and hardware. Lay out hardware, accessories, and attachments in a predetermined order on tables and trays. Label trays and tables with RO number and kit information Label traction units with workorder and/or hangtag Identify if there are any missing pieces or hardware and report back to leader/advisor Change workorder status when or if needed Communicate and take initiative with technicians and leader regularly to determine when units will be finished and which setups to prep next. Verify the serial numbers on the equipment matches what it says on the hangtag/ServiceMax, with attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products Document issues in a clear and concise manner Use the computer for status changes and keep up with company communications through email
