About The Position

The Stager 1 Team Member is an entry-level position on the Staging team. The Staging team’s goal is to prepare, organize, and set up the raw materials, ingredients, and packaging needed for the production process. Stagers play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production lines have all the necessary items in the right quantities to meet our daily production goals. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to food safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in commercial food preparation, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good counting and math skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Comfortable working on a team in a manufacturing facility with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately portion, weigh, measure, label, and stage ingredients following recipes, batch sheets, and company standards
  • Assemble, organize, and stage required ingredients, materials, and equipment in designated staging areas according to production schedules
  • Stage packaging materials (including pint cups, lids, tubs, and related items) to support production needs
  • Clean, return, and properly store sub-assembly materials in accordance with GMPs and allergen protocols
  • Transfer ingredients and materials as needed for thawing, downstacking, or production readiness
  • Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation and proper material handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area by following sanitation, safety, and personnel hygiene standards
  • Identify and report quality issues, discrepancies, or missing materials to leadership in a timely manner
  • Use NetSuite to confirm ingredient accuracy and support efficient workflow between departments
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with production, quality, and staging team members to support smooth operations
