The Stage Technician Trainee is a seasonal, part-time role designed to develop the next generation of Flyspace stage professionals. Trainees will work alongside our experienced Stage Technicians to support the operation, setup, maintenance, and teardown of the Stageline Mobile Stage Fleet and related production equipment. Flyspace will invest in structured training on our stage systems, workflows, safety protocols, and operational standards. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in mobile stage operations, warehouse preparation, and live event execution. High-performing trainees may be sponsored to pursue Stageline stage operation certification as appropriate. At the conclusion of the season, three to four of the strongest performers will be offered full-time, year-round positions with full benefits, creating a long-term growth pathway within the organization. Work will primarily occur at our warehouse on Pittsburgh’s Northside, as well as at event locations throughout the region. Program Goals Build a deeper bench of capable, safety-focused technicians during peak months. Develop trainees into certified, operationally proficient stage technicians. Identify and retain top performers for long-term employment.
