About The Position

Ferrero's Augusta, Georgia Plant is looking for an Industrial Sustainability, Environmental and Energy (ISEE) Manager. This role is part of plant leadership, driving results towards ambitious global targets for industrial sustainability and environmental initiatives. The ISEE Manager will work with stakeholders across the Plant, providing guidance on energy saving topics and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Environmental Studies or related field.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years in Industrial Sustainability management or related fields.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 & 50001 and relevant regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency using MS Suite.
  • Drive for results and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Promote collaborations in the Plant to achieve energy efficiency goals and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Communicate with relevant authorities regarding environmental issues.
  • Manage the Environmental Management System.
  • Ensure proper Ammonia Risk Management Programs and Process Safety Management are in place.
  • Analyze energy supply needs and usage within the manufacturing cycle.
  • Define budget proposals for Environmental & Energy topics.
  • Support the development of the mid-long term plan for Energy Plant structure.
  • Identify resources affecting energy and environmental compliance.
  • Promote assessment of energy and environmental impacts of new machines.
  • Increase energy saving culture at all levels through training and support.
  • Monitor legislative evolution and manage institutional relations.
  • Identify activities that could benefit from public incentives.
  • Draft and update instructions/procedures regarding energy and environment.
  • Oversee environment-related procedures and apply certified environment managing systems.
  • Report environmental impact to State and Federal Government.
  • Monitor primary and secondary energy sources and ensure energy consumption tracking.
  • Achieve and maintain certifications such as ISO 50001 & 14001.
  • Perform energy audits and manage relevant certifications.
