About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staffing Director to join our leadership team and ensure that our community is consistently staffed with compassionate and capable caregivers. Position Summary The Staffing Director oversees all staffing, scheduling, disciplinary, and partial recruitment functions for Home Again's assisted living and memory care communities. This role ensures that each area of our building (assisted living and memory care) is properly staffed to meet resident care needs, regulatory standards, and company service expectations. The ideal candidate will balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on scheduling management, ensuring operational excellence and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of staffing or scheduling experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living and memory care staffing.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and commitment to Home Again's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage 24/7.
  • Implement effective onboarding, retention, and engagement strategies to reduce turnover and improve staff morale.
  • Monitor time and attendance systems to manage overtime, call-offs, and shift coverage efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and best practices for assisted living and memory care staffing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with staffing agencies, educational partners, and community networks to support hiring needs.
  • Track and analyze staffing metrics, including turnover, attendance, and labor costs, and report trends to leadership.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate on strategic initiatives related to workforce optimization.
