The ideal candidate will deliver weekly staffing reports to regional and corporate teams, ensure data accuracy, and communicate staffing metrics with clarity and confidence.

Requirements

• Must have Nursing Home Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator experience
• Preferably have OnShift Scheduling Platform experience
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to scheduling requests; remain available while on call.
• Return scheduling-related calls within one hour.
• Keep scheduling phone active and accessible during assigned hours.
• Fill open shifts without delay; provide coverage when necessary.
• Report call-ins to the manager by the next business day.
• Maintain consistent and adequate staffing levels.
• Attend all required training sessions, in-services, and staff meetings.
• Support a safe work environment through proactive accident prevention and equipment care.
• Complete the DOH Staffing Hours Calculator PPD Reconciliation Report daily.
• Submit the Red Carpet Weekly Report tracking agency utilization.
• Prepare and deliver the Weekly Labor Report.
