About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager assists in the staffing and selection of personnel to meet needs. Provides clerical support to personnel and managers. In person Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Works within EPIC to review clinician schedules, identify availability based on productivity metrics and assigns admissions and visits appropriately. Assists in the scheduling of home health patient admissions and routine home health visits as indicated for the metro home health team. Answers phone and email. Maintains knowledge of all home health staffing regulations and coordinates patient visits accordingly. Utilizes EPIC to review schedules and to determine the most appropriate clinician to assign an admission or visit to, based on productivity, current schedule and geographical location of patient. Communicates clearly and courteous with employees, patients and families. Runs reports and provides administrative support as needed. Occasional weekend and holiday call requirements.
