Emerald Crest of Minnetonka, a Cassia community, is hiring a Staffing Coordinator/ Scheduler to join our team who care for memory care residents in home-like settings. In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Type: Full-Time, benefit eligible position with 10 days a month being On-Call for staffing.
Shift Available:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Staffing/Scheduling experience preferred!
• 6+ months of caregiving experience in a memory care setting required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Provide clerical support to nursing management.
• Interview and hire candidates for open nursing positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Track continuing educational programs for staff.
• Create training plans for new nursing staff.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
• Complete payroll and manage time clock errors.
• Order and distribute nursing supplies in a cost effective manner.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
