Our Staffing Coordinator is there to ensure optimal results that help us build on our success. Under the supervision of the Director, performs confidential administrative duties. These include reviewing and evaluating the overall staffing based upon the defined staffing and scheduling system, providing information to callers, using PC for data entry, updating and retrieving information, word processing, and performing clerical duties. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the overall staffing, including preparation of staffing sheets and reports, compilation of staffing data (i.e. overtime agency, per-diem usage and nursing care hours), and review of scheduling/communication with Patient Care Directors and Nurse Coordinators. This is a part time night position; 11:30 pm- 8:00 am, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have one year of higher education (at the college or university level).
  • Minimum of one year administrative/clerical experience working in an office setting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and secretarial skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Staffing Coordinator experience in Healthcare.

Responsibilities
