About The Position

We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our Hospice House team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our caregivers are supported with accurate, efficient, and timely staffing and scheduling.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health, hospice, or equivalent healthcare staffing/scheduling experience required.
• 2+ years of hospital staffing, scheduling, or time/attendance recording experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Prior secretarial or administrative support experience preferred.
• College coursework in business, healthcare, or a related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain unit schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational policies and bargaining agreements.
• Serve as a resource to managers and supervisors for efficient use of the staffing/scheduling system.
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership regarding scheduling needs, updates, and compliance issues.
• Support payroll processes by reconciling attendance data, verifying timesheets, and ensuring accurate caregiver records.
• Partner with leadership to analyze staffing patterns and provide productivity and statistical reports.
• May coordinate education schedules or assist with transfer center functions depending on community needs.
• Perform other administrative support duties as assigned.
