Arm System IP enables designers to build Arm AMBA systems that are high performance, power efficient and reliable. Configurable for many different applications, System IP is the right choice for your system whether it is a high-efficiency IoT endpoint or a high-performance server SoC. The collection of silicon proven interconnects, security IP, system controllers, debug and trace and IP tooling are all designed, validated and optimized to be used with Arm Cortex processors and Arm Mali Multimedia IP. Built upon the open AMBA interface standard, Arm System IP provides design teams with the foundation for building better systems. Job Overview: The Arm NI-700 Non-Coherent Network-on-Chip Interconnect (NCI) is designed for intelligent connected systems across a wide range of applications including mobile, networking infrastructure, storage, server, HPC, automotive, and industrial solutions. The highly scalable/configurable interconnect is optimized for ArmV8/ArmV9 processors and can be customized across a wide range of performance points. Our group is seeking dedicated design verification engineers capable of completing our next generation of products!

  • Develop and maintain SystemVerilog based test benches used to verify features in a complex interconnect design.
  • Build and maintain detailed test plans for formal verification of future products and designs.
  • Coordinate with other members of the verification team on deliverables.
  • Generate and run test cases on logic simulation models.
  • Debug functional errors in the RTL model using simulation and debug tools along with an in-depth understanding of the microarchitecture.
  • Define and implement functional coverage to ensure all parts of the design have been verified and tested.
  • Analyze data from simulation runs to drive improvements in bug discovery.
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 7+ years of experience in verification/RTL design
  • Multiprocessing microarchitecture experience including knowledge of cache coherence and bus protocols (e.g. AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE or AXI).
  • Previous experience in specification, creation, and debug of System Verilog/UVM constrained-random testbenches.
  • Proven software engineering skills including understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl
  • Prior verification, CAD and/or infrastructure experience.
  • Experience with formal verification and physical design principles and methodologies.
  • With offices around the world, Arm is a diverse organization of dedicated, creative, and very hardworking engineers. By enabling a multifaceted, inclusive, meritocratic, and open workplace, where everyone can grow and succeed, we encourage our people to share their unrivaled contributions to Arm's success in the global marketplace.
