Incorporate data-driven insights into UX strategies, identifying pain points, opportunities, and transforming data findings and user feedback into actionable design recommendations and improvements. Participate in roadmap and sprint planning alongside product, design, operations, and engineering leaders, effectively assigning tasks to designers for streamlined project execution.. Work with team on project advancements, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining a high standard of quality. Produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing nature of the business and technological landscape. Drive collaborations between designers across multiple teams on interdependent projects and merge solutions into a larger structure and create a cohesive design ecosystem. Participate in the creation of service design and craft seamless online-to-offline experiences within the retail sector. Create an experience and ecosystem for “In-club inventory intelligence” to enhance inventory accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and ensure a cohesive visual identity aligned with the Bold and Blue in-club design system. Participate in research and user testing, leveraging personas, user flows, wireframes, and functional specifications to communicate design recommendations. Participate in the end-to-end design process, ranging from low-fidelity concepts to mid-high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design assets. Develop design templates and patterns that align seamlessly with the broader design system, driving the establishment and adoption of the design system and accessibility compliance for Sam’s Club products, ensuring uniform and inclusive experiences across services. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 4 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Skills required: Experience with design explorations and communicating design concepts through sketching, storyboarding, and wireframing skills using Balsamiq, Sketch, and Miro. Experience producing mid-to-high fidelity mockups using design tools including Sketch and Figma. Experience creating interactive prototypes using Figma, InVision, and Adobe XD. Experience creating icons and illustrations using tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Experience creating animations or motion graphics using After Effects, Principle, and Lottie. Experience generating personas, user flows, journey maps, and sitemaps using Miro, Sketch, and Figma. Experience conducting user research offline or online with methodologies including contextual inquiry, affinity analysis, heuristic evaluation, surveys, data analysis, and competitive analysis. Experience conducting usability testing via prototypes or launching products using offline and online tools including Figma, InVison, and Quantum Metric. Experience delivering production assets and design specifications with tools including Zeplin and Figma. Experience performing "Visual Quality Assurance" tasks via Figma and Zeplin to ensure engineers have built software as intended. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $153,691/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
