About The Position

We are looking for a visionary Staff Technical Lead Manager (TLM), Corporate Engineering to build and lead our Corporate Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategy, technical direction, and culture of a team that will directly impact the entire organization. As a Staff TLM, you will be responsible for both managing a talented team of systems engineers and system administrators and providing hands-on technical leadership. You will architect a cohesive and secure SaaS ecosystem, drive our enterprise AI strategy, and champion a culture of automation and continuous improvement. Your team manages the critical SaaS applications, integrations and automations that powers our engineering and business operations. This team drives the use of Enterprise AI to create intelligent, end-to-end solutions that drive efficiency and unlock new capabilities for everyone at Aurora.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, or systems engineering, with at least 3+ years in leading engineering teams in delivering complex, large-scale enterprise applications or platform services.
  • Deep, hands-on experience administering and integrating a suite of modern SaaS applications (e.g., Atlassian suite, Google Workspace, Slack, an incident management platform)
  • Strong proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/Google Apps Script) and extensive experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms
  • Experience in implementing and leveraging AI solutions.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy and roadmap for the Corporate Engineering function that enables tooling for: Incident management, Knowledge and Document Management, Work and project management, Analytics and Visualization, Communication, etc.
  • Design and oversee a scalable, secure, and integrated ecosystem of enterprise applications (Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, OpsGenie, Firehydrant, etc.). Lead the charge in eliminating manual work by building robust automation and integration workflows using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance, review system architecture, and contribute to complex integration and automation projects. Serve as the primary technical expert for the team's domain.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Security, IT, and Engineering to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure seamless delivery of solutions. Champion best practices for application governance, security, and data management.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of enterprise AI solutions and productivity tools.
