This position plans, organizes, and implements phone intake coordination, psychosocial interventions, assessments, and evidenced based therapy sessions for pregnant and postpartum individuals. The Hermann Center is revitalizing treatment of children, perinatal parents, and the whole family through empowering parents and caregivers to nurture social and emotional foundations, strengthening parent-child relationships, and continuing to research and develop interventions that set a new standard of care within the community. We aim to provide the highest level of collaborative behavioral health support for children and families beginning as early as pregnancy. As a core service of the Hermann Center, Perinatal Behavioral Health Service (PBHS) provides screening, evaluation, and treatment for parents who are experiencing pregnancy-related or postpartum stress, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. With the expansion into the Hermann Center, PBHS has developed tailored services for early intervention, prevention, and treatment of perinatal individuals.
