A licensed professional in a psychology related field responsible for providing mental health services that reduce barriers and create opportunities for greater academic achievement and student success. Essential Functions Provides group, individual, couples therapy, and psychoeducational workshops to a culturally diverse college student body in accordance with the university statement on diversity and inclusion. Consults with faculty, staff, and students regarding student concerns and participates in university-wide committees. Keeps accurate and timely electronic records on all contacts with clients. Maintains compliance with ethical standards in the execution of services in accordance with the American Psychological Association, university policies, local, state and federal rules and regulations. Positive attitude, proven to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion. Participates in staff and multidisciplinary team meetings. Represents CAPS at campus events including outreach presentations and orientation sessions. Attends professional development opportunities. Maintains licensure status with the appropriate California board. Other duties as assigned.
