Our Sensors Test Engineering team in Burnsville Minnesota is seeking a Staff Technician to join our team of experienced engineers and technicians supporting production. As a member of our team, you will lead in building and assembling innovative test solutions supporting both commercial and defense sensor products. In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of test solutions at various stages of their life cycle. A successful candidate will be a fast learner with the ability to respond to requests efficiently, have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical test system build and assembly, and a curiosity to troubleshoot and solve test equipment problems. What You Will Do: You will be responsible for building and assembling test hardware (cables, valve boxes, control boxes, interface boxes, etc.) and test solutions per engineering drawings, as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical equipment and device problems on the production line. You will create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering to meet customer requirements. Will work in updating documentation (drawings, schematics, BOM, classification) and or providing markups of new and existing test hardware. You will work in a collaborative team environment and be able to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and technicians. You will assist in mentoring, coaching, and checking the work of technical support employees. What you will learn: You will learn to work as a team to solve the most difficult problems.
