Requirements
- High Attention to Detail: Capable of identifying minute defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards
- Integrity & Objectivity: Reliable and committed to enforcing quality standards, even under pressure from production deadlines
- Analytical Thinking: Able to analyze data, interpret technical drawings, and identify root causes of defects
- Proactive Problem-Solver: Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to improve processes
- Good Communication Skills: Capable of clearly reporting findings inwriting and discussing them with production personnel
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday
Responsibilities
- Incoming Inspection: Verify that raw materials meet purchase orders and specifications to ensure product quality
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct checks at various production stages to prevent non-conforming products and support smooth operations
- Final Inspection: Carefully evaluate finished goods before shipment to make sure they adhere to company standards
- Defect Management: Document and isolate any non-conforming materials (e.g., hold or rework as necessary)
- Calibration: Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment while ensuring compliance with set standards
