Requirements

  • High Attention to Detail: Capable of identifying minute defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards
  • Integrity & Objectivity: Reliable and committed to enforcing quality standards, even under pressure from production deadlines
  • Analytical Thinking: Able to analyze data, interpret technical drawings, and identify root causes of defects
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to improve processes
  • Good Communication Skills: Capable of clearly reporting findings inwriting and discussing them with production personnel
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday

Responsibilities

  • Incoming Inspection: Verify that raw materials meet purchase orders and specifications to ensure product quality
  • In-Process Inspection: Conduct checks at various production stages to prevent non-conforming products and support smooth operations
  • Final Inspection: Carefully evaluate finished goods before shipment to make sure they adhere to company standards
  • Defect Management: Document and isolate any non-conforming materials (e.g., hold or rework as necessary)
  • Calibration: Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment while ensuring compliance with set standards
