Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Support all engineering activities in a leading-edge automated test equipment (ATE) laboratory for semiconductor Responsible for all ATE equipment including tester, prober, microscope, thermostream, test bench equipment Sustain laboratory infrastructure (Power, compressor, temperature/humidity control, ESD protection, etc.) Test integrated-circuit (IC) samples using ATE and bench setup Run IC product characterization, collect, process and distribute test data Receive, handle (storage, baking/sealing) and ship IC samples Handle customer returns, support sample preparation, testing and root cause analysis Maintain test equipment, run periodical maintenance, calibration and hardware/software upgrade Prototype test hardware, assemble, modify, repair test hardware (PCB, cable and modules) Responsible for certification and compliance of ATE laboratory andstorage spaces Maintain ATE infrastructures including docking, IT connectivity, workstation and controller software Contribute to new product introduction projects (NPI) and post-release activities, support test debugging, characterization and qualification Manage the daily operation of the laboratory (ATE schedule, material/supplies, condition of the tools and equipment) Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Associate degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience as a laboratory or engineering technician, experience in major semiconductor companies is desirable Demonstrated experience in ATE equipment: Semiconductor tester, prober, thermo stream, other handling equipment Hands-on experience in lab instruments: DVM, oscilloscope, power supply, signal generator Experience in operating a laboratory, interacting with engineers, and providing technical support Hardware skills: PCB prototyping and rework, soldering, component replacement, PCB/cable connectivity Some mechanical experiences including equipment docking, contacting, manipulating; reading CAD drawing; understanding mechanical tolerance and error Basic skills in power supply and lab utility: Power, air conditioning, compressor for pressure air and vacuum, ESD protection Basic knowledge of electrical circuit: Digital, analog and power, PCBCAD tools (OrCAD / Cadence Allegro) Computer skills: Windows, MS Office and shared site; some programming skills in C/C++, VBasic, Python desirable; usage of statistical tools; client/server environment Some off-shift and overtime work hours required Demonstrated skills in problem solving, communications and teamwork #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
