Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates specialized depth and / or breadth of expertise in data acquisition systems and techniques.
  • Able to evaluate test data and make decisions that impacts and drives the quality of results.
  • Schedules, leads and coaches resources to resolve complex problems in the collection of meaningful, technical test data during tests on motorcycles and their components in laboratory, test cell or proving ground.
  • Using analytical thought, successfully applies instrumentation tools and techniques during project execution and provides high quality test data through in depth understanding of transducer designs, calibration, limitations, and their appropriate usage.
  • Exercises sound judgement in evaluating complex test data and makes decisions to its integrity.
  • Compiles, analyses and reports test results to engineering in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in the use of reporting tools such as Test Information System and/or warranty systems for data entry and retrieval.
  • Identifies innovative solutions, develops new techniques, develops current tests, improves processes in order to reduce data collection and product development times.
  • Works independently, requiring guidance on only the most complex situations involving calibration of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a group and / or team and provide guidance to other employees.
