As the Technical Program Manager for Operations at DoorDash Labs, you will play a central role within the robot operations team as we scale and optimize last-mile deliveries using autonomy. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our autonomous delivery fleet, which is a key component of DoorDash's core delivery platform. You will report to the manager of our growing Technical Program Management team and will interface with various teams including operations, hardware, service, software, autonomy, safety, and testing on a daily basis. This hybrid role requires you to be on-site at our Oakland facility 1-2 days per week, along with occasional travel to our non-SF Bay Area locations. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling our autonomous delivery fleet and associated fleet operations across multiple states. You will work closely with members of our operations teams in the SF Bay Area and other locations, utilizing your data analytics skills to establish and track operational and fleet efficiency metrics. Your efforts will be directed towards initiating and driving operational and robot fleet uptime improvements, managing robot fleet service and repair needs, and championing a culture of safety by driving initiatives with safety in mind at all times. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships for fleet logistics, service, and repairs, and collaborate with team members across DoorDash Labs to follow up and resolve issues effectively.
