Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment with experience using test and evaluation equipment
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
  • Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic, optical, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test yield, processes, & methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Use and monitor sensitive calibrated test equipment.
  • Document and record test results & data accurately.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve test fails.
  • Generates notifications and defects related to test issues or fails.
  • Follows detailed work instructions and Test Procedures.
