  • Lead test and integration of new features in areas of dynamics/propulsion and thermal controls
  • Lead efforts to bring up software to support new vehicle platforms, working closely with systems engineers and software developers
  • Lead efforts to root-cause bugs identified during test and integration; propose elegant and robust solutions to address issues identified
  • Identify gaps, opportunities for improving testing efficiency and processes
  • Review results of regression testing, identify critical issues and propose path to resolution
  • Define and execute vehicle level test cases
  • Ensure comprehensive catalog of regression test cases exist to ensure quality of released software
  • Predict integration issues ahead of time and take action to mitigate risks
  • A degree in either Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • 5+ years experience with test and integration of software in an automotive setting
  • Strong understanding of thermal domains in an automotive setting required
  • Experience scripting with Python, coding with C/C++
  • Experience bringing together engineers, cross-functional stakeholders to arrive at effective technical solutions to problems
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and apply creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record of solving problems using first principles
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Experience testing vehicles at proving grounds is a plus
  • Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
