  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or mission-critical system development, with demonstrated progression of technical responsibility.
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering processes across the full development lifecycle in accordance with recognized frameworks such as ISO/IEEE 15288 or the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in trade studies and technical decision support.
  • Experience developing, decomposing, and managing requirements using tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Stell; including requirements traceability, verification, and validation.
  • Experience authoring and reviewing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Specifications, Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Documentation Trees, Engineering Management Plans, Engineering Change Packages or similar systems engineering artifacts.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading formal design milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) in a DoD or NASA acquisition environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team coordination.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
