As a Staff Systems Engineer on our SysEng OODP Operations team, you will help deliver 24x7 support for our Government Cloud infrastructure. The Federal SysEng OODP Operations Team has 3 shifts that provide 24x7 production support for our Big Data Government cloud infrastructure. Below are some highlights. 4 Day work week (Wednesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Wednesday) No on-call rotation Shift Bonuses for 2nd and 3rd shifts This is a 3rd Shift position with work hours from 11 pm - 10 am Pacific Time The Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineering team at ServiceNow is looking for help to architect and build the server infrastructure and core services that allow our SaaS platform to run at scale and with high availability. We’re looking for a skilled systems developer who can help craft the technology and processes needed to sustain ServiceNow’s growth while gaining valuable experience in modern systems and software development. Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and other related tools. Strong understanding of traditional relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Ability to write queries, perform joins, and optimize basic SQL queries. Develop systems, web services, and automation tools that are thoroughly specified, documented, and testable. Build orchestration workflows by leveraging features of the ServiceNow platform. Research and implement new open-source and commercial tools, technologies and methodologies. Manage large scale infrastructure with code. Collaborate with peer teams who have built world-class networking and orchestration solutions.
