The Staff Systems Engineer - Networking is responsible for designing and implementing computer and information networks, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and customer or cloud data communications networks. The role involves performing network modeling, data analysis, and planning of the global data network. The incumbent will ensure a secure data networking environment, research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software, and act as a consultant to the business regarding the overall performance, health, and maintenance of the data network. This position requires deep technical knowledge, awareness of emerging trends, and the ability to interface with teams to drive efforts to completion. The role may involve 25-30% travel.
