About The Position

True Anomaly is seeking a highly accomplished Staff Systems Engineer to support the rapid test launch campaign for a next-generation missile defense program. This is a generational opportunity contribute to a solution to some of the most challenging mission sets in missile defense, not to mention aerospace engineering as a whole. In this role, you will perform requirements development, traceability, and verification across multiple coupled vehicles and systems. You will lead design trades and cross-functional integration effort while conducting impact analyses for changes and ensure design integrity across the system and supporting integration and test planning, risk assessments, and design reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years full lifecycle experience leading a major subsystem through design, test, and verification
  • Strong technical leadership and systems architecture expertise
  • Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to lead technical trades
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
  • Demonstrated expertise with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret

  • Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
  • Background in range certification, test readiness reviews, and safety boards
  • TS/SCI clearance
