About Sequel Sequel, headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire, is a company developing the next generation of transformative drug-delivery advancements starting with diabetes. Sequel’s approach is to look at diabetes management holistically to advance systems that make living with diabetes simpler and easier for all. Sequel’s flagship product, the twiist Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System, launched in July 2025 for people with type 1 diabetes providing them with personalized diabetes management. Sequel Med Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Systems Engineer to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and configuration of our critical NetSuite ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the platform including system architecture, application configuration, release management, and system API integration. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform, while also contributing to its ongoing evolution. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with various business units to deliver efficient solutions. The NetSuite System Engineer will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for NetSuite, ensuring system integrity and performance, and will also assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of systems engineering experience, with 3+ years of experience configuring, managing, and supporting NetSuite ERP.
  • Local to and able to work a hybrid schedule in either the Marlborough, MA or Manchester, NH office preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript-based SuiteScript development, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between NetSuite and external systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (AP, AR, reporting) and SOX compliance.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems in regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, life sciences, or manufacturing).
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite modules such as Finance, CRM, Manufacturing, Procurement, and how they interrelate.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11, and system validation best practices.
  • Experience with NetSuite APIs and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato).
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, collaboration, and customer‑service orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer).
  • Experience with other cloud-based ERP solutions.
  • Project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, and maintain NetSuite modules to support evolving business requirements.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper security and compliance.
  • Customize forms, fields, PDFs, and records to meet functional and operational needs.
  • Manage system upgrades, new feature releases, and regression testing activities.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting, and resolving NetSuite-related issues.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training sessions to improve user adoption and system proficiency.
  • Collaborate with NetSuite Support and third-party vendors to resolve complex or escalated issues.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity across all modules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure data accuracy across inventory, financials, and quality systems.
  • Develop and manage saved searches, custom reports, and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Assist with integrating third-party systems (HRIS, PLM, CRM, etc.) and other business applications with NetSuite.
  • Utilize NetSuite APIs (REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk) to support integrations and extend system capabilities.
  • Monitor and maintain integration processes to ensure seamless and reliable data flow.
  • Work on business process automation using SuiteApps and custom workflows to streamline operations.
  • Design and develop custom SuiteScripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0) to enhance functionality and automate business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues such as data discrepancies, performance concerns, and user errors.
