Job Description: We are currently seeking a Staff Surveyor to join our team in our Blue Ash, OH office. The ideal candidate is an experienced field professional with office skills performing, ALTA and Boundary Surveys, Topographic/Existing Condition & Route Surveys and Construction Layout.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Experience managing and directing less experienced staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management experience of land development projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D needed, Trimble product experience helpful
  • Must be able to work with others in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Current LSIT, Ohio or Kentucky P.S. license is preferred
  • GIS and laser scanning experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing the survey function
  • Preparing estimates and writing proposals
  • Scheduling of the survey crews
  • Determining the most appropriate data collection method
  • Field data preparation, record research, processing the field data, verifying the accuracy of survey data, survey calculations
  • Managing the base mapping process, preparing plats and easements
  • Ensuring the safety of the surveys crews
  • Maintaining equipment
