Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 12 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis; OR a Master's degree with 10 years of experience; OR a Ph.D. with 7 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance and any required program access.

Nice To Haves

  • Structural Analysis Experience in Airframe, Crew Systems, Subsystems, and/or Structural Integrity.
  • Active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment.
  • Ensure designs meet program requirements and are optimized for weight, cost, and quality.
  • Derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization using tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
  • Collaborate in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and analyze complex problems to develop solutions.
