The Claims IT department is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling next-generation claims technology solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where the engineer will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact software that transforms the claims experience for customers and internal users. The role involves working at the intersection of modern cloud-native engineering and emerging Generative AI / Agentic AI capabilities, helping the organization harness these technologies to improve claims processing, decision-making, and operational efficiency. This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office location (Hartford, CT; Columbus, OH; and Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
