We seek an experienced, collaborative, and resourceful Staff Backend Engineer to join our team. Our Early Bets initiatives are critical to EarnIn’s success, providing new experiences and products for our users to empower them with a more comprehensive ecosystem of solutions. We seek engineers who thrive in uncertainty, excel at defining technical solutions in ambiguous environments, and collaborate closely with Product teams to refine requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in fintech or has built 0-to-1 products, demonstrating a strong ability to design and implement scalable architectures that support rapid product evolution. Candidates with backgrounds in early-stage software products engineered for scale, or in Research & Development for new technologies, will fit well on our team. The base salary range for this full-time position is $252,000-$308,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This is a hybrid position in Mountain View (Headquarters) and will require in-office work 2 days a week.
