The Change Engineering organization is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the processes and tools that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient technology changes across the enterprise. Our mission is to strike the right balance between stability and agility-enabling faster delivery of business value while protecting critical systems from disruption. We achieve this by leveraging automation, AI-driven risk analysis, and tight integration with DevOps, cloud, and observability platforms. We are looking for a hands-on Change Engineer to help design, build, and optimize the systems and automations that power our enterprise change management process. This role is technical in nature and requires strong skills in ITSM tooling, integrations, and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will thrive at the intersection of IT operations, DevOps, and process engineering, ensuring that changes are executed reliably, safely, and efficiently.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow Change Management (or similar ITSM tools) to support business requirements.
  • Automate workflows for change request creation, risk evaluation, approval routing, and change scheduling.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of change success and failure metrics.
  • Design and implement end-to-end integrations between ITSM platforms, DevOps pipelines, topology tools, and policy engines.
  • Develop automation scripts/tools for pre-change validation, impact analysis, and post-change verification.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity between ServiceNow and cross functional systems.
  • Enable automated retrieval of topology, policy, and configuration data to support insights and risk assessment.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into the change engineering pipeline for change insights, risk analysis, and dependency mapping.
  • Leverage retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or similar techniques to provide explainable AI-driven insights.
  • Build feedback loops where model outputs (risk scores, recommendations) are validated against real-world outcomes to improve accuracy.
  • ITSM Platforms: ServiceNow Change Management (hands-on configuration and customization).
  • Programming/Scripting: Python, PowerShell, JavaScript.
  • APIs & Integrations: REST APIs, event-driven integrations, webhooks, JSON.
  • Automation & Infrastructure: CI/CD tools
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure, or GCP.
  • Databases & Data Handling: SQL/NoSQL basics, ensuring data sanity and consistency.
  • AI/ML Tools: Experience with LLM APIs, risk scoring models.
  • Overall 5+ years of experience in Software engineering
  • Degree (B.S. or M.S.) in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
