What you'll do... Position: Staff Software Engineer Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Duties: Design and build core platform components using various web technologies to gather competitive information such as product and pricing details from the web. Design and build large scale multi-tenant system that utilizes machine learning models to improve precision of competitive information for business stakeholders to make decisions on product assortment and pricing of the products. Partner and collaborate on product development with business stakeholders and cross functional teams to capture business requirements. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, and possible root cause. Provide technical guidance and continuous mentorship to junior members in the team. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area OR Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $153,301/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
