The Technology, Data, & Intelligence Team Okta’s Technology, Data, & Intelligence organization is on a mission to simplify and secure internal operations through automation, analysis, and scale. Our Productivity Engineering team is responsible for developing internal tooling, infrastructure and services that empower Okta employees to work as effectively as possible. We work across engineering, data science, security, and internal business teams to deliver automation-powered services that integrate across a wide array of SAAS apps and internally developed infrastructure to Okta. A growing focus for our team has been an investment of cycles into AI agentic platforms, workflow orchestration, and data analytic dashboarding. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving tough problems and building with purpose.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Software development experience with experience in Java or Python or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ hands-on Salesforce development with solid knowledge of Apex, Process Automation, and LWC.
  • Experience in Architecture, Design & implementation of various high-complexity projects/programs for Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud Console.
  • Solid understanding of developing secure solutions that leverage native Salesforce practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Experience working with CI/CD, SfDx, Jenkins or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to build Agents using Agentforce or by leveraging open source libraries to build agents.
  • Proficiency in using Github copilot or cursor or AI workflow orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural Ownership and Design: Translate business needs into well-architected solutions and design solid, scalable, and secure architectures.
  • Project and Delivery Leadership: Act as a Team Lead and own deliverables from discovery to deployment.
  • Mentorship and Technical Bar-Setting: Mentor other engineers and define & set the bar high for coding standards.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Communicate and collaborate across different functions, articulating the benefits and risks of solutions.
  • Future-Forward Technical Skills: Build Agents using Agentforce or leverage open source libraries to build agents.
  • Strategic Influence on Technology Roadmap: Identify opportunities and influence the future technical and business roadmap.
  • Operating in Ambiguity: Distill broad, ambiguous business problems into concrete, solvable technical projects.
