The Hartford is seeking a Staff Software/Reliability Engineer within the Personal Insurance organization and will have end-to-end technical accountabilities in reliability engineering, production support, and application operations for a product within personal lines portfolio in a highly distributed, integrated, multi-platform environment. We are looking for a Staff Reliability Engineer who has a strong technical understanding of complex traditional and modern architectures and systems, fundamentally treats Production Support as a Software and Systems Engineering Problem, has a natural inclination to automate and drive self-healing capabilities, has innate curiosity of how systems work and is a continuous learner, and applies pragmatic design patterns, reliability, and incident management best practices to build solutions for complex problems. This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
