Requirements

Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages with strong coding standards and guidelines adherence.
Experience designing scalable software architectures and modular, extensible solutions aligned with business requirements.
Expertise in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes, including automation scripting to enhance efficiency.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including identification, engagement, and communication to support functional partnerships.
Ability to analyze and translate complex requirements into detailed designs and user stories within agile frameworks.
Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure software quality and security.
Familiarity with telemetry, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery design principles to support robust system performance.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 2 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
Design scalable, modular software architectures that meet functional and non-functional requirements, including disaster recovery and telemetry.
Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code using Python and other relevant technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
Implement automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot defects to improve system performance and security.
Monitor program metrics and ensure alignment with project milestones and business objectives.
