About The Position

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will be a key driver in producing and maintaining the 'Base Images' for all supported Linux distributions and will set the standard for quality, security, and performance. You will contribute to the design and enforcement of a framework that brings order and consistency to the ecosystem. You'll manage the approved path for releasing OS images to customers while meeting high standards. Your influence will extend across the entire OS lifecycle and contribute to building tools that provide transparent monitoring and auditing, empowering federated teams to build efficiently. You will implement and improve the processes that guarantee our OS performs optimally upholding our promise of reliability.
