In this role, you will build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes, including code reviews and unit testing. You will work closely with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code from design through implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users. Your responsibilities will also include designing software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite. As a mentor for colleagues, you will help promote knowledge-sharing within the team.

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
  • Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery.
  • Design software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing existing products.
  • Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions leveraging Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to drive the adoption of coding standards, best practices, and automation across the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and customer-facing teams to design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and infrastructure automation to streamline delivery.
  • Ensure systems are designed for high availability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to improve overall system architecture.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and provide sustainable solutions.
  • Base pay of $163,600 - $286,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation.
