About The Position
The Employer Experience team plays a key role in growing and supporting our 401(k) product, Betterment at Work. The team guides employers through various moments of their 401(k) plan's lifecycle, including onboarding and managing day to day operations like processing payrolls, updating employee data, and handling required compliance actions. We partner with many different business functions and engineering teams to make sophisticated processes unique to this domain straightforward and delightful for our customers. As a staff engineer, you'll play an instrumental role in designing and implementing complex systems within the team's domain, guiding your team's full stack development practices and collaborating with other senior engineering leaders to advance Betterment's technology and create high performance, reliability and exceptional developer experience.
