We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Developer Experience - Delivery Team as a technical leader who will drive the maturation and scaling of our internal delivery platform. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to a team of 6 engineers, make critical architectural decisions in complex environments, and establish the technical direction that enables CoreWeave to deploy and manage services reliably at unprecedented scale.

  • Strong proficiency in Go as a primary programming language for building production systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux) and gitops-based delivery patterns
  • Deep understanding of progressive deployment strategies, traffic management, canary rollouts, and error budgets
  • Strong experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and networking/storage fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to design systems that balance innovation with reliability, considering trade-offs around complexity, maintainability, and operational burden
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions and build alignment across engineering and leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or contributing to platform engineering or developer productivity teams

  • Architect and implement scalable solutions for progressive rollouts, traffic shaping, application packaging, and channel management that power thousands of deployments
  • Establish technical standards and best practices for service delivery, championing their adoption across all engineering teams through influence and collaboration
  • Design and build custom Kubernetes operators, controllers, and orchestration systems that enable declarative, reliable delivery of applications at massive scale
  • Mentor and guide engineers on the team, fostering technical growth and establishing a culture of engineering excellence
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between delivery platform capabilities and organizational needs, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear recommendations
  • Own the reliability and performance of critical delivery infrastructure, applying SRE fundamentals to achieve ambitious availability and deployment velocity targets
  • Evaluate and integrate innovative tools and practices from the Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems, balancing cutting-edge solutions with production stability
  • Grow, change, invest in your teammates, be invested-in, share your ideas, listen to others, be curious, have fun, and, above all, be yourself.
