About The Position

The Data Warehouse team builds the systems that let customers integrate disparate data sources into Amplitude and turn raw data into actionable product intelligence. We own the platform that ingests data from numerous external sources, enriches it, and powers downstream workflows both inside and outside Amplitude. The team operates like a small startup: fast iteration, direct ownership, and tight collaboration. We have an ambitious roadmap and a long list of high-impact product initiatives. You’ll move quickly, take full ownership of complex projects, and drive alignment across engineering, product, and design. The work ranges from building new customer-facing features to improving system reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and development of major projects—from ideation through implementation, testing, QA, and launch.
  • Work across the full stack using TypeScript, React, CSS Modules, GraphQL, Node, Python, Java, Postgres, and MySQL.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve product capabilities, user experience, performance, and reliability.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product and Design to shape the roadmap and user experience.
  • Set engineering standards, lead technical discussions, and mentor engineers across the team.
