As a Staff Software Engineer on our Consumer Health Systems team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming how care is delivered and experienced. Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, execution, and technical direction for a broad functional area, setting priorities for the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical specs, oversee design, scope projects, and drive deliverables.
- Lead and review major software designs, advocate for innovative, forward-looking technical strategies, and improve development processes.
- Ensure compliance by working closely with privacy, security, and quality teams, while managing project priorities and deadlines independently.
- Mentor team members on design techniques, coding standards, and support their technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of software development experience with expertise in a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.).
- Proven leadership in guiding project teams and setting technical direction.
- Deep knowledge in a technical domain and experience designing distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Backstage), and strong written communication for design/architecture documentation.
