As the Staff Engineer for the Brain Health team, you will lead the technical architecture and development of innovative brain health solutions at Hinge Health. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team building agentic AI systems for pain reprocessing therapy and mindfulness interventions, while also architecting a unified education service that delivers pain science knowledge and mindset strategies to our members. As a Staff Engineer, you should be passionate about building high-quality software, have a deep understanding of AI systems, and be excited to work on complex challenges at scale. We enjoy a continuous deployment DevOps culture, and take owner-operator pride in supporting our code in production. Our stack includes Go, gRPC, Temporal, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS), GraphQL, React, and React Native. Our workflow is trunk-based CI/CD, and our security/compliance posture is at the highest standards of healthcare, including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and CCPA. Hinge Health Hybrid Model We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
