As a Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to AI Studio, a playground for GenAI developers and a vibe coding platform that greatly expands who can be a developer to include all creators and AI enthusiasts. Your work will grow and support the developer community around Google’s ML technologies. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX, and fellow engineers to prototype, design, develop, and deploy innovative AI solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience with Android application development.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Google AI Studio Android app that enable third-party (3P) developers to leverage the Gemini models to build apps.
• Understand developers of Large Language Models (LLMs) based applications.
• Build production-scale features to productionize new generative AI technical stack.
• Collaborate with partners product areas/teams to advance LLM techniques, and realize real-world product impact in the meantime.
• Build the team culture of this growing team, define engineering practices, and lead the fast-paced execution.
• Design and build highly available and low latency online serving systems.
