The Member Experience Engineering team builds the web and mobile experiences that Spring Health members use to access care. We blaze trails with green field innovation, iterate rapidly on feature roadmaps, and optimize the experiences to reduce friction. We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join a team responsible for building modern AI powered experiences. The role is full time, reports to a Senior Director of Engineering, is full remote (or optionally hybrid if you happen to live near Manhattan), with travel opportunities at least twice per year for in person events.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years experience as a software engineer
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript and/or Flutter
  • At least 3 years of experience building developer platforms and tool chains
  • At least 2 years of experience with modern AI technologies
  • Track record of proactive and collaborative leadership style
  • Track record of technical leadership, creating clarity from ambiguity
